7. What is your favorite weather? Sunny, with a few clouds in the sky, temps around 70.

9. If you were given a free house that was full furnished, where in the world would you like it to be? Right here in Wisconsin.

10. Name three things that you could not live without. Food, Water and the internet.

11. What would you like in your hands right now? A large glass of sweet iced tea.

14. As a child, what type of career did you want? Computer Programmer in the United States Air Force

15. What are you missing right now? Lots of things and a few people.

16. What are you currently reading? Another Jack Reacher story.

18. What’s the best movie that you’ve seen recently? The Lego Batman Movie

19. What’s your favorite book from the past year? I read many but didn't really have a favorite.

Storm Chasing

Yesterday, as I drove towards work (at 5:00AM), I realized I was chasing a storm.

The clouds had pretty shades of blue in them. I just had to stop and take a photo or two.

Bird Watching Dog Lover

Yesterday after lunch I found a quiet spot to sit and watch

the birds outside.  I even managed to get a photo of one!

Meanwhile, Shelby was at home with her Daddy, hanging out on 

the deck in the sunshine!  I don't think she wanted to go back inside.
I love this dog to the moon and back a billion times!

1. Are you single? No.  I am married.

2. Are your parents still married? My parents are deceased.  They divorced in 1990, but were getting back together.

3. Are you in love? No.  I feel the term "in love" means "in lust".  Love takes times to develop.  Lust is instant and over quickly.

4. Do you believe in love at first sight? No. 

5. Who ended your last relationship? I did.  My children were young and he was not good "male role model" material.

6. Have you ever been hurt by a break up? Yes, many times.

7. Have you ever broken someone’s heart? Probably.

8. Have you ever had a secret admirer?  Many, many, many years ago, someone played a sick joke on me by pretending I had a secret admirer.  That lie was very hurtful.

10th Blogoversary for Moments of Introspection

Hello Everyone! Today, June 1st is this blogs 10th Blogoversary!

The original name of this blog was Simply Shannon.  However, Simply Shannon is the name
 of my personal web site, so I changed  the name in July 2007 to Shannon's Moments of Introspection, In 2012 after a deep conversation with a friend, I changed the name of this
 blog to Moments of Introspection.  I plan on leaving the name as is....for now. :)
