Sunday Stealing: Winter Questions

This week's Sunday Stealing was stolen from Swap Bot.

How do you get past the gray skies during winter? I think of sunny days and count down the days until Spring.

Do you like snow? Why or why not? I like snow as long as I do not have to shovel it off the sidewalks, or drive in it.

What are your favorite activities to do during the winter? Stay at home, drink hot chocolate and read a good book.

What does a perfect winter day look like to you? Stay at home, drink hot chocolate and read a good book.

What are your favorite meals/food you enjoy eating during the winter? I enjoy things like beef stew and biscuits; homemade chicken and dumplings; and chili.

What is your favorite winter holiday and why? Any holiday that I do not have to go to work.

What is your favorite pizza flavor and toppings. Thin crust pizza, with garlic butter as the sauce, topped with lots of mushrooms and bacon.

What are some items in your daily bag/ backpack. Cell phone, medication, identification and my wallet.

Your favorite snacks. Chocolate, popcorn, and ice cream.

Some foreign countries that you would like to visit: Ireland

What things that remind you of home? The smell of lilacs, the smell of pipe tobacco, and peonies in bloom.

What was your favorite Christmas gift? This beautiful necklace my husband gave to me.....

2. Type of car? I did not have a car until a year after high school. My first car was a Ford Escort.

3. What kind of job? I did not work during high school. After high school I had a variety of jobs.

4. Where did you live? At home.

5. Were you popular in school? Not really.

6. Were you in choir/band? No.

7. Ever get suspended? I did not get out of school suspension but I did get a few in school suspensions.

8. If you could would you go back? No.

9. Still talk to the person that you went to prom with? No.

11. Go to all the football games? My school did not have football.

12. Favorite subjects? None of the classes really stood out as my favorite.

Panic Attacks Are Sneaky

Panic attacks are sneaky. I can be completely happy one minute then the next minute go into a full blown panic attack. Death is my biggest fear. I do NOT want to die. But I know that I will die one day and there is not a damn thing I can do about it.

One of the worse things about my panic attacks is the overwhelming, intensity in the feeling is being nothing....of not existing....of once day not waking up. Recovering from a panic attack is getting harder each time. I just want to stay in bed and never leave my house.

1. January usually has ample amounts of snowfall in parts of the world. Did you ever make snow cream as a kid?

Of course! And I still make it now and then. Yummy!

2. January is one of the months with 31 days. What are you going to do with that extra day?

It does not feel like an extra day. It if was a true extra day I would spend the day relaxing in bed.

3. What is your favorite magazine?

Reader's Digest

4. If you live to be 99 years old, what would you like your life to be like in that last decade??

Happy, peaceful and carefree.

5. The great world of Wikipedia tells me that scientists claim 99% of all documented species are extinct. Which remaining species in the 1% category would you really like to see extinct. And which species in the 99% category would you like to bring back?

I would not mind if cockroaches went extinct. They are so gross. There are many of the extinct species I would like to bring back, to include the Northern White Rhino and the Passenger Pigeon.

6. On January 14, 1986 motorists were required for the first time to wear seat belts?
Do you always buckle up? Why or why not?

I always buckle up, and I buckle up properly. I feel safer with my seat belt on. Also, I believe my mom would have possibly survived the car crash that killed her if she had been wearing her seat belt properly.

7. Why did the cow jump over the moon?

The cow jumped over the moon because she was extremely happy.

9. Have you said anything in the last 24 hours that you regret?

Nothing I can think of.

10. Have you ever written anything on your blog that you wish you could take back?

I am sure I have, I just don't remember what it was.

I do not like gossip and blabbering. I think it can be very hurtful, so I do my best to not be either.

12. How important is a cell phone in your life?

It is very important to me because it keeps me in touch with my loved ones at all times.

I tend to be 10 to 15 minutes early.

16. Can you think of a time when you were late for something and it was REALLY a big deal?

Many, many, many years ago I was late to work twice in one week and was fired.

17. If you were on your way to work and had five minutes to get there, would you stop in the road to rescue a crossing turtle?

I would stop to recuse the turtle. The boss can yell at me later.

18. When you are having a really good day, what usually makes it good?

Low stress, good music, and a nice glass of sweet tea.

19. What is the most annoying Christmas song?

Santa Baby

20. You are Snow White. Which dwarf is your favorite and why?

Sleepy is my favorite dwarf, because I too, am always sleepy.
