Sunday Stealing: Monster Mash

 https://sundaystealing.blogspot.com/
ghost: what would you like on your tombstone?  "May she final have peace."

dracula: are you afraid of aging? or death? I am afraid of death. I do not want to die.

nosferatu: what, as a child, did you imagine went bump in the night? All kinds of things!  I had and have a wild imagination.

godzilla: what do you do when you are angry? are you ever destructive? When I was younger I would throw things and be destructive.  But I found out that does nothing for me.  Now, I just get super quiet and ignore whoever or whatever I am mad at.

the blob: do you collect anything? if so, what and why? I collect stuffed animals, mostly teddy bears and dogs....they give me a sense of comfort and of normalcy.  I also like to collect memories so that I can always have my loved ones close.

zombie: when was the last time you trusted your gut? was it successful? Last week and yes it was successful.

mothra: what is something dangerous that attracts or fascinates you? None that I can think of.

king kong: what are some questionable choices you've made lately? None lately

alien: what is your strangest feature? My feet

cthulhu: do you like the ocean? why or why not? I love the ocean.  I find the waves crashing against the shore to be very relaxing.

nessie: have you ever felt invisible to people -- the feeling of not existing? Yes, many time.

mutant spider: what is one of your biggest fears? Death

werewolf: if you could change into any nonhuman animal and back at will, what animal would you
change into and why? I would like to change into an owl so that I can fly and feel free.

golem: if you could make up an imaginary friend, what would they be like and why? I had an imaginary friend as a kid in the form of my teddy bear.  Her name was Teddy and I told all my secrets to her.  She got me through some very rough, upsetting, life changing experiences.

leprechaun: what is your "pot of gold" (or white whale, if you'd rather) Lot of things.

sharktopus: what is something you've done that was ridiculous or a bad decision? I have made a lot of bad decisions in my life and those decisions are now in the past...where they belong.

robot: what is a habit you do without thinking?  I pick zits, bumps, sores and scabs on my face and body until they bleed.  My skin looks horrible.

Happy National Chocolate Day 2017
Chocolate comes from cocoa, which is a tree.
That makes it a plant.

My Peace Globe for Blog4Peace 2016 was dedicated in loving memory of my son, Colt.
Colt was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on February 8, 2016.
Cancer took him away from me on March 10, 2016.

The photo below was the last photo Colt took of
himself the day before he passed away.
I will cherish this photo, and all the photos I have of him forever.
I miss Colt and love him so very much.
My heart and soul will never be the same with him gone.

I am trying to find peace....

Shelby Wants To Go Too!

My Jeep is parked outside in front of the house on Saturday so Shelby knew I would be leaving soon to go to town.  She was hanging out on the footstool, while looking out the front door at the Jeep.  because she thinks sitting in front of me will stop me from going (or that I might take her with me).  Unfortunately, she had to stay home with her Daddy while I went to town.  BUT, later that day she got to go to Grandma's house with me.

Happy Sweetest Day 2017

The first Sweetest Day was on October 10, 1921 in Cleveland. The Cleveland Plain Dealer's October 8, 1922 edition, which chronicles the first Sweetest Day in Cleveland, states that the first Sweetest Day was planned by a committee of 12 confectioners chaired by candymaker C. C. Hartzell. The Sweetest Day in the Year Committee distributed over 20,000 boxes of candy to "newsboys, orphans, old folks, and the poor" in Cleveland, Ohio.
