Tuesday Tunes: Word Association

Tuesday Tunes : Week 48
Hosted by The Meme Mistress at "The Music Memoirs"

Word associations for this week. Just tell us what artist/band/song comes to mind when you see these words:

Storm: "Rock You Like A Hurricane" by The Scorpions
Rain: "Blame it on the Rain" by Milli Vanilli
Old: "Old Time Rock and Roll" by Bob Seger
Magic: "Black Magic Woman" by Santana
Angst: "Against the Wind"
by Bob Seger
Trust: "Trust" by Megadeath
True: "True Blue" by Madona
Broken: "Torn" by Natalie
Cheesy: "I've Got A Lovely Bunch of Coconuts" by Monty Python
Family: "Mama Tried" by Merle Haggard

  1. "True Blue" may be my most favorite Madonna song ever. Great list!

  2. True Blue -- I love that song.

I liked the Milli Vanilli songs too, too bad they were fake, what a terrible thing to do and look at what happened in the end -- a suicide.

I think Merv Griffin made the Coconut song popular, he use to sing with a band before he became a tv icon/producer. That movie "My Life as a Dog" featured that song.

  3. Nice list.

Megadeath and Scorpions. Nice to see some harder stuff show up on these lists. :)

  4. I hadn't thought about Milli Vanilli im a while. What a nice girl she was...

  5. Citizen...thank you.

Jean...I didn't know that :) I learned something else new today!

    Lord...thanks :) indeed.
