Smurfs! My most favorite cartoon ever!
The Smurfs (originally Les Schtroumpfs [le ʃtrumpf] in French) are a fictional group of small sky blue creatures who live somewhere in the woods. The Belgian cartoonist Peyo introduced Smurfs to the world in a series of comic strips, making their first appearance in the Belgian comics magazine Le Journal de Spirou on October 23, 1958. The English-speaking world perhaps knows them best through the 1980s animated television series from Hanna-Barbera Productions, The Smurfs.
I was addicted to this cartoon. I have tons of smurf stuff-lol. The music teacher came over to borrow a ruler and I said-uh here is my smurf ruler-hehe-still using it! She is a lot younger than me and she started naming all of the smurfs-lol. Thanks for the trip down memory lane! Hope all is well! Happy Hump Day
