Day 8 is dedicated to my co-workers.
On October 7, one of my co-workers (Vic) had a birthday...his 65th birthday. Vic is retiring soon and many of us atre sad that this was his last birthday in the office. So to celebrate, several other co-workers decorated his work space and when he got to work that day we surprised him with a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" moment. Vic was indeed surprised...I think I even saw a tear or two! :)
Things like this happen weekly. I see kindness, love, and caring every day at work. This kindness, caring and love makes live at work much easier to deal with. I am grateful to have such awesome co-workers...many that I consider friends.
You are lucky. It is not the way for many people.
