Sunday Stealing: 2023

Welcome to this week's Sunday Stealing! 

1. What did you do this year that you had not done before?

I had to plan a funeral and bury my husband.

2. Did you keep your New Year's Resolutions/goals for the year and will you make/set more for next year? What are they? What are your new ones?

I did not make New Year's Resolutions or det goals. I will not make any for the new year.  

3. Did anyone you know give birth? Or get pregnant?

I know several people that gave birth and several that got/are pregnant.   

4. Did anyone you know die? Or have a serious illness?

My husband and father-in-law passed away.   

5. What places did you visit?

Work, home, my in-laws homes.   

6. What would you like to have next year that you lacked this year (doesn't have to be a physical thing)?

Spend more time outside.

7. What date from this year will remain etched in your memory and why?

September 10th....the day my husband died.

8. What was your biggest achievement this year?

I survived

9. Did you get sick or injured? Anyone you know?

No and no.   

10. What was the best thing you bought?

Two candle warmers that warms from the top.

11. Where did most of your disposable income go (money leftover after you pay for food, transportation and shelter)?

Stuff for my dog, decor for my house and gaming related items. 

12. What song will always remind you of this year?

The Sound of Pulling Heaven Down by Blue October.  This is my and my husbands song.

13. What do you wish you would have done more of?

Spent more time with my husband.

14. What do you wish you would have done less of?

Cleaning the house.

15. What was your favorite new TV program? Movie? Album/Songs? Or if you didn't pick up any new ones, what are you still watching/listening to?

I have not picked up any new albums and I do not have any new favorite songs or TV shows. I do still like M*A*S*H, Castle, Last Man Standing, The Golden Girls, and several other show.  I have a few favorite songs but none at this time that stand out as my most favorite.
