Sunday Stealing: Love, Elbows Sopranos and Dreams

This week's Sunday Stealing was stolen from SwapBot.
1. Does love come from the brain, the heart or elsewhere?

I believe that loves comes from the brain and is a chemical reaction in our brain.

2. Have you ever given a shot?

I have and I am sure I will again.  My husband has several life changing health issues and needs at home shots at times.

3. Can you lick your elbow? (Come on, didja try?)

I cannot and I just tried it again....still cannot do so.

4. If I was going to be talking to you for 10 minutes, what would be something really interesting you know a little bit about but would like to know more??

I would love to hear all about Ireland.

5. What do you think of the Sopranos?

I like the show. I have watched and re-watched it many times.

6. Have you ever had a crush on your teacher? How about your boss?

No and No.

7. Have you ever seen a movie in 3D?

Yes, several. I do not like watching movies in 3D though, doing so gives me a headache.

8. How difficult do you think it is for immigrants to come into your country?

I think it is extremely difficult.

9. Do you have what it takes to go live in another country, maybe for years, where you don't speak the language as your first language?

I do not.

10. Have you ever died in your dreams?

I have and I woke up all freaked out each time.

11. What book should our political leaders read and why?

"True Reagan: What Made Ronald Reagan Great and Why It Matters" by James Rosebush. Ronald Reagan, because he did not follow a traditional pattern in his leadership abilities. He led according to what he personally believed in; stood by and stood up for his personal beliefs, values and moral and was not influenced by outsiders. Reagan was perceived as a strong and uncomplicated leader. I inspire to be like that.

12. What is your favorite glass object?

My desk.

13. Do you like to window shop?

Every now and then.

14. Are you more likely to buy one really nice expensive outfit or a couple of cheap outfits?

A couple of cheap outfits.

15. If you could, would you wear everything once, throw it out and buy something new?

I would not. Shopping is too stressful.

  1. I'm about 1/4 Irish. One of the relatives I cannot find are the parents of my maternal grandfather's mother. Her parents, whose names I don't know, except his surname is Collins, is my primary genealogical mystery.

  2. You and I appear to be the only death dreamers. I generally wake up in a complete panic and freak out. Fortunately, I don't dream that very often. I hope the same for you.

  3. We have a different political system. A prime minister (our "president") should represent the country and aim to bring people together. He should not follow his own standards.
