Sunday Stealing: The Book of Questions

This week's Sunday Stealing was stolen from The Book of Questions.
1. When you tell a story, do you often exaggerate?

Rarely.  There is no point in exaggerating.

2. If a friend were almost always late, would you resent it or simply allow for it?

I would simply allow for it.

3. Can you be counted on to be on time?

Absolutely!

4. When did you last yell at someone? Why?

Yesterday.  I was driving to town and the car behind me passed me, then cut me off to get in front of me.  I was not at all happy!

5. If you could have free, unlimited service for five years from an extremely good cook, chauffeur, housekeeper, masseuse, or personal secretary, which would you choose?

Housekeeper

6. Would you be willing to go to a slaughterhouse and kill a cow? Do you eat meat?

I am not willing to go to a slaughterhouse and I am not willing to kill a cow.  Yes, sadly, I do eat meat.

7. Do you feel ill at ease going alone to either diner or a movie? What about going on a vacation by yourself?

As I get older, I more and more feel ill at ease going on vacation by myself. However, I am ok with going to a movie or to dinner by myself.

8. Would you like to be famous? In what way?

I would not like to be famous. I just don't want my loved ones to ever forget me.

9. Would you rather play a game with someone more or less talented than you?

It does not make a difference to me, as long as we have fun.

10. Is there something you've dreamed of doing for a long time? Why haven't you done it?

Parasailing.  I am too old, too fat and too lazy.

11. If you were at a friend's house for Thanksgiving dinner and found a dead cockroach in your salad, what would you do?

I would dump out the salad, then quietly and politely tell the hostess.

12. Would you accept $10,000 to shave your head and continue your normal activities sans hat or wig without explaining the reason for your haircut?

I don't think so.  Maybe if it was $10 million.

13. If you were able to wake up tomorrow in the body of someone else, would you do so? Whom would you pick?

I would love to wake up with the body I had when I was 18 years old.  I was a hell of a lot skinner and firmed.

14. If you could change anything about the way you were raised, what would it be?

My parents arguing....there would be way less of that happening.

15. What, if anything, is too serious to be joked about?

Death.
