Sunday Stealing: Thinking Back Over The Year

This week's Sunday Stealing was stolen from the League of Extraordinary Penpals.

What did you do last year that you had not done before?

I tried the food at Chipotle, It was ok.

Did you keep your New Year's Resolutions/goals for the year and will you make/set more for next year? What are they? What are your new ones?

I did not make any resolutions or goals for the year and I do not plan to make any for 2023.

What was the best book you read this year? How many did you read?

"No Plan B" by Lee Child.  I read about 40ish books this year.  I tried to keep track of them through Good Reads but I am sure I missed listing a few of them.

Did anyone you know die? Or have a serious illness/injury?

Sadly, I know of many people that died.  As far as serious illness/injury, my husband has to have a triple heart bypass.

What places have you visited?

My office, my in-laws, local stores and the local gas stations.

Any new pets? Lost a pet?

No new pets and I have not lost a pet in 2022,

What would you like to have next year that you lacked this year (doesn't have to be a physical thing i.e. love, job security, peace of mind...)?

I would love to see more of my family, whether I go to Missouri or they come to Wisconsin.

What date from last year will remain etched in your memory and why?

May 9, 2022....things at working took a turn for the better.

What was your biggest achievement last year?

I got a job promotion at work and I make more money now.

Did you get sick or injured?

Nothing major, just a few sniffles here and there and some small cuts/scrapes.

What was the best thing you bought?

The best thing I purchased in 2022 was an adorable bedding set for my bed.

Where did most of your disposable income go (money leftover after you pay for food, medical care, basic clothing, transportation and shelter)?

Most of my disposable income went to toys for my dog.

  1. Lulu: "We approve of spending disposable income on dog toys."
Java Bean: "Maybe you will get another raise this year so you can buy even more dog toys!"
Charlee: "Hey, what about cat toys?"
Lulu: "You cats can be fascinated for hours watching a bug on the wall. What do you need toys for?"
Chaplin: "A bug on the wall??? Where?!?!?!"
