Sunday Stealing: Personal History

This week's Sunday Stealing was stolen from Pinterest.

1. What would you like people to know about your mother?

My mom put up with a lot of bullshit.

2. What would you like people to know about your father?

My dad was a very hard worker.

3. What was your childhood bedroom like?

Filled with lots of stuffed animals and posters on the wall. 

4. What was your favorite activity as a child?

Reading.

5. What was high school like for you?

Stressful.

6. Write about your cousins.

I have a lot of cousins. Growing up I saw nearly all of them often.  Now, for those that are still alive, we hardly ever see each other or speak to each other.

7. What was your favorite food as a child?

My teddy bear.

8. What was your most memorable birthday?

My sixteenth birthday is my most memorable birthday.  I remember mom was taking photos and I flipped off the camera in once and she took the photo and had it printed. LOL

9. What world events were significant to you as a child?

The bicentennial, Watergate, Chernobyl, Cold War, Fall of the Berlin Wall, Space Shuttle Challenger explosion, and Roe vs. Wade.

10. What did a typical day look like as a child?

Go to school, come home to do homework, then hang out in my room listening to music until bedtime.

11. Write about your grandparents.

I did not get to meet my dad's parents as they both died before I was born.  My mom's parents lived next door to us and it was awesome.  I enjoyed spending time with my grandparents.  I miss them very much.

12. Did you move as a child?

We moved once that I can remember.  Dad was building our new house so we had to move to temporary housing.

13. Who taught you to drive?

My dad taught me how to drive.

14. Which job has been your favorite?

My current job is my favorite job.

15. What was the best part of your 30s?

The best part of my 30's was, having my children near me.
