Sunday Stealing: Hodgepodge

This week's Sunday Stealing was stolen from Hodgepodge.
1. What's something you've recently accomplished solo?

I mowed the front yard and most of the back yard.

2. What's one product you use that never ever fails?

Charmin toiler paper.

3. Have you found your place in the world? Where is it?

I am still looking for my place in the world.

4. Worst movie you ever saw?

I have seen a few that I thought were the worse movie ever, but I cannot remember the names of them.  I guess they were just not worth remembering.

5. What's the last fun thing you did?

Spent time with my in-laws

6. What's your favorite Italian dish?

Fettuccini Alfredo

7. Have you ever been to France? Any desire to visit there, and if so what would site or city would you most want to see?

I have not been to France and I really do not have a desire to visit there.

8. Have you ever been to Disney, any of the parks at all? Are you a Disney superfan or something less than that? They're open right now so tell us, would you go if you had the time/money/a free trip?

I would love to go to at least one Disney park as I have never been to any of the Disney parks. The closest I got was when I was a kid while on vacation with my parents and brother.  We were in the parking lot of Disney in Florida and my brother and I were fighting.  Dad told us to stop fighting or we would leave.  We didn't stop fighting so Dad took us all back to the hotel we were staying at.  I cried for hours.

9. Your favorite place to go when you want to be quiet as a church mouse? Would those who know you well describe you as more church mouse or perhaps more like mighty mouse?

I like to go into my bedroom and shut the door.  My bedroom is my safe space.  I can be a church mouse when I want to be or a might mouse....depends on how I feel and the situation I am in.

10. Do you bake your own bread? Last time you had hot out-of-the-oven homemade bread? What's your favorite kind of bread?

I made pumpkin bread a year or so ago.  Other than that I have not made any homemade bread.  I like white bread, soda bread, flat bread, corn bread, zucchini bread, banana bread, pumpkin bread and potato bread.

11. What's something you might say is 'the greatest thing since sliced bread'?

I think technology such as laptops and the internet is the greatest thing since sliced bread.  These items allow me to work for home, which help me to take care of my husband.

12. Share with us five little things you're grateful for today. Small blessings. One catch-they all must start with the letter T.

Technology
Trust
Transportation
Today
Time

13. Tell us where you were and something about what life was like when you were 20- 21.

I lived in Missouri, not far from where I was born and raised.  I  was raising my daughter who was two at the time; and we lived with my fiancée.  My parents died a year and 13 days apart during that time.  I had to grown up fast and learn how to deal with life.

14. What's on the menu at your house this week?

Not quite sure at this point. I don't normally prepare a weekly menu. We just decide what we want to eat a few hours before we eat.

15.Something you recently purchased where a coupon was involved? Do you regularly shop with coupons?

I recently purchased some work pants and bras using a coupon.  I try to use coupons as often as possible on things I use to the most.

  1. Don't tell anyone, but I'm still looking for my place in the world, too. Good for you for admitting it. I seldom do. I love my husband, but I'm not happy with my life.
