Sunday Stealing: Art Historic Meme
Classical: If you were an Olympian god, what would you be known for? Laziness and kindness.

Byzantine: Do you prefer gold or silver accessories? Silver

Medieval: Are you religious? Not really.

Gothic: What is your favorite historic building? Castillo de San Marcos in St. Augustine, Florida.

Renaissance: Have you ever had a time in your life when you felt enlightened or changed? Many times.

Baroque: Do you enjoy the finer things in life? No. I enjoy things I like but no the finer things.

Rococo: Is your bedroom full of trinkets and pictures? If so, which pictures adorn your walls? No. But the rest of my house is.

Neoclassicism: If something came back into fashion, what do you hope it would be? Nothing that I can think of. I am not very fashionable and I do not get into the latest fashions.

Romanticism: Do you often see things in a positive light? A much as possible. I do my best to find the positive in everything and everyone.

Pre-Raphaelite: Which book would you like to see turned into a film? My favorite book has already been turned into a film (Gone With The Wind).

Impressionism: Do you look for details or take everything in at once? I start by taking everything in at once to help me get a basic understanding.  Then, I look for the details.

Art Nouveau: When were you last at the theatre? Many, many years ago.

Surrealism: Why does the porcupine think it's a duck? Because no one told the porcupine he is a porcupine. He was not "labeled" and is free to be what he wants to be.

Pop Art: Do you enjoy pop culture? Some of it.

Contemporary: What did you do today? Grocery shopping.

  1. I mistook this meme to be all about Ages of Art. Oops! 😬 Enjoyed reading your answers.
    You’re surrealism answer is perfect!
My doctor told me to get rid of the books in my bedroom, so I’ll be busy doing that in the next week. Dust.

  2. Yes, you have the best porcupine answer. I am amazed at how few people have not been to theater in years. Since I see 1-3 shows a week, it seems very odd! (But then I'm paid to go)

  3. I am surprised so many of us prefer silver to gold.

  4. I have always wanted to go to St. Augustine, but haven't made it yet.
Gone With the Wind is one of my favorite classics. I've read it several times, but I've yet to watch the movie. I'm afraid I'll be disappointed.

Thank you for your comment! I appreciate you!
