Mental Health Awareness Month (also referred to as "Mental Health Month") has been observed in May in the United States since 1949, reaching millions of people in the United States through the media, local events, and screenings.
Mental Health America
, and other organizations such as the
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)
, have created tools and organized resources to assist individuals, organizations and communities in raising awareness of the types of issues the above risky behaviors present
Millions of people are affected daily by mental health conditions. If you are the one with mental health issues, please seek help.
