The world is full of people with lots of things to say
Some of them are false and some are true
But there's something to be said for each and every one
So here is my advice to you
Think before you speak
Just think before you speak
A thoughtless stream of words
Is strictly for the birds

If you mind is in a flutter
Stuff & nonsense you will utter
Causing everyone to mutter "silly girl,
her poor little head is in a whirl"

Tomorrow never comes
And it's just as true today
If you don't know what you mean
Than you don't mean what you say
So think before you speak

Give your brain the simple task
Of choosing what you ask
