Friday Fill-Ins: May 16, 2008

1. There is absolutely NO way you can get me to eat spinach...it makes my tummy hurt!
2. Warmer weather reminds me that summer is almost here!
3. I cannot live without my children, dogs, brother and computer.
4. Para-sailing and flying an airplane are two things I'd like to try.
5. When life hands you lemons make a yummy lemon shake-up...extra sweet is even better.
6. My grandparents sitting on their front porch while telling the grandchildren stories of the old days is my favorite childhood memory.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to finally getting some rest, it has been a long week, tomorrow my plans include getting my hair cut, since it is getting too thick and long and Sunday, I want to clean the house and get some laundry done.

Spinach makes your tummy hurt? Why?
ReplyDeleteJust the thought of eating something that reminds me of grass makes my tummy hurt :) LOL I know that is silly but it makes me feel like I am going to throw up :(.

ReplyDeletePoor tummy! Spinach is one of my favorite foods EVER! I wish I could remember even ONE story from my grandparents... I don't think they ever told any. My parents really didn't either... it's sad. Well... my mom told stories about OUR family - but not about HER family. I never met my father's parents. Laundry and house cleaning are my agenda for TODAY. Ugh. (if I ever stop blogging!)

So you had the time on the porch w/ your grandparents too.
I've never had a lemon shake-up. But even still, it sounds yummy.
