Books and films both tell stories, but what we want from a book can be different from what we want from a movie. Is this true for you? If so, what’s the difference between a book and a movie?
It is really hard to compare a book to a movie. In my opinion a book leave more to the imagination and is more involved than a movie. I have found that in 9 out of 10 times the book is way better than the movie made about that book...even if I enjoyed the movie. It seems that in today's fast paced society that some (not all) people would rather watch a movie than read a book. By doing so they are missing out on one of the great things in life. Reading can take you places that a movie can't...simply because you must use your imagination to get there.
The book stays with me forever. The movie does not.
