Sunday Stealing: For Those Who Celebrate Christmas #1

What’s your favorite thing about the holidays? 

Having time off from work and spending time with my loved ones.

Do you send out Christmas cards and if so how many do you send? 

I sent out seven Christmas cards this year.  Next year I plan to send out more.

I don't like them much.

Be honest: photo cards. Love ‘em or hate ‘em? 

I love photo cards.  

How soon do you start shopping? 

Not long after Thanksgiving.

Real or fake tree? 

I prefer a fake tree.

When do you put up your tree? 

Normally, the day after Thanksgiving.  This year I put the tree up before Thanksgiving because this year has been not so great in the world.

When do you take down your tree? 

The week between Christmas and New Year's.

Describe your typical tree (size, decorations, type) 

Six foot tall, lots of clear lights, round blue glass ornaments, and various "I really like these" ornaments.

What do you top your tree with? 

A star.

Do you put Christmas lights outside your house? 

I put up clear Christmas lights outside my house. 

Is there a wreath hanging on your door? 

I have a wreath on the outside of my garage entrance door, another wreath hanging on my front porch and a third wreath on the door between my garage and house.

Do you hang up stockings? 

Not typically.

Your favorite Christmas Movie(s) 

A Christmas Story, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Annabelle's Wish and Elf.

Be honest: A Christmas movie you hate 

I have a strong dislike for A Christmas Story 2.

Favorite Christmas Song(s)

The Little Drummer Boy, 

Be honest: If I hear this/these Christmas songs again I will throw up

I do not like Santa Baby.

I prefer to give presents.

I prefer eggnog.

I prefer turkey.
