Sunday Stealing: Gratitude

This week's Sunday Stealing was stolen from Angie Cruise.

1. A person I’m glad to have in my life.

It is really had to pick just one!  I am glad to have my brother, husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, both sisters-in-law, Nancy Joe, Johnny, Rose, Barbara, Megan, Laurie and many others.

2. Something I find comfort in.

Chocolate

3. My favorite part of the morning

Waking up...because I am glad to still be alive.

4. My favorite memory

Sitting on the back porch of my grandparents house....grandma and grandpa in their porch swing and the grandkids gathered around as grandpa tells of stories of the good old days.

5. An accomplishment I’m proud of

Purchasing a new home.

6. An opportunity I’m grateful for

The home I just purchased.

7. My favorite song (and why)

Currently I do not have a favorite song.  There are many that I can and do listen to over and over, but none really stand out as my most favorite.

8. A future event I’m excited about.

Fiscal Year 2020 coming to an end on September 30th.

9. My favorite area in my home.

My four season porch.

10. Something beautiful I saw today.

The squirrels running around my yard.

11. My guilty pleasure.

Chocolate

12. Something I love about a family member

Their generosity.

13. A compliment that made me feel good

"You can do this! I have faith in you!"

14. The item I treasure the most.

The ashes of my son, Colt, and of my dogs, Annabelle and Shelby.

15. My favorite part about nature

My favorite part about nature is the peaceful, relaxed feeling I get when I am immersed in it.

16. A book I loved reading

Gone With The Wind

17. A freedom I’m grateful for

I am grateful for the freedom to wear whatever I want.

18. My favorite part of the evening.

Relaxing in bed, while watching tv with my husband.

19. One good thing that happened today.

I went up and downstairs many times and didn't fall once!

20. How I show gratitude for my friends.

Texting them to see how they are doing.  Buying them things I know they will like.
