"The sweet calm sunshine of October, now
Warms the low spot; upon its grassy mold
The purple oak-leaf falls; the birch bough
drops its bright spoil like arrow-heads of gold."
- William Cullen Bryant

  2. That is so pretty. I wish that TRUE Autumn lasted longer here - we already have snow in the 10 day forecast! Have a great week.

  5. How wonderful....

....and WHAT Tamy? Snow? We're finally taking a breath from 90 degrees days here. But I'll take some snow if you'll ship it to me. =)

  6. Lovely Shannon. I've been enjoying the squirrels chasing each other through the trees on our street causing the autumn leaves to fall a tad early. It's such a beautiful feeling standing under a tree when it happens. Your quotation reminded me of that. Thanks.
